Terry Michael Seamon, 76, of Mount Ulla, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at his residence. He was born on August 4, 1941 in Salisbury, NC, to the late John "J.B." Seamon and Myrtle Fesperman Seamon. Mr. Seamon was a 1959 graduate of Mt. Ulla High School. He drove a truck for JC Penny Warehouse and later retired from Carolina Freight/ABF after 40 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Seamon. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sharlet Spurgeon Seamon; mother-in-law, Lois Spurgeon; children, Janet (Philip), Christina (Brenton), Marianna (James), Tom (Crystal); grandchildren, Tim, Brooklynn, Christopher, David, Morgan, Tommy, Taylor; and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2 from 12:00-2:00 PM with a service following at 2:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jacob Hedirck officiating. Burial will follow the service at Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Seamon family.
