Roberta Blanche Warren Brown, 83, of Mooresville, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017, at Gordon Hospice House, Statesville. Born March 12, 1934, in Catawba County she was a daughter of the late Ed and Eva Fox Warren. Mrs. Brown was a retired seamstress for Troutman Shirt Company. She was a member of The Bridge Church of the Nazarene, Mooresville. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Whitfield Brown; sisters, Iva Cave (Harold), Helen Warren Ward (Elam), and Emma Lee Warren Patsel (Pat) and brothers, Joe and Rollin Warren (Edith). She is survived by her children, Alvin Brown (Linda), of Burnsville, Belinda B. Mills (Mike), of Mooresville and David Warren Brown (Donna), of Statesville; sister, Margie Warren, of Statesville; brothers, Robert Warren, of Charlotte, Paul Warren (Polly), of Troutman, Donald Warren (Marlene), of Statesville and Hoover Warren (Mary), of Maryland; grandchildren, Lynn Brown Pate (John), Ricky Brown, Bryan Mills (Helen), Jeremy Mills (Sindy), Adam Brown, Matthew Brown and Caleb Brown; great grandchildren, Brayden Pate, Camden Pate, Leila Mills, Nicolas Mills, Joey Quintana, Judy Garcia (Joel) and great-great grandchildren, Jeremiah Garcia and Jocelyn Garcia. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at The Bridge Church of the Nazarene, Mooresville, with Rev. Dan West officiating. Burial will follow at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
