Marjorie Fairchild Kinderman Fielding (Margie), 93, of China Grove, NC and formerly of Buffalo, NY, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2025. She was born on May 25, 1932, to the late Gladys Coe Kinderman and Ralph Mason Kinderman. Marjorie had her under grad degree in elementary education with her master's degree in education of the hearing impaired. She spent her early career teaching first grade then took time off to raise her family. She then spent several years teaching the hearing impaired. Her love of animals brought her to find a job working for a veterinarian in her later years. Marjorie was an accomplished artist and vocalist. She was always a member of a local Episcopal church choir in whatever town she was living in at the time. Her artistic ability included many different mediums such as watercolor, oils and pastels. She also did ink blocks and made her own jewelry. You would always get a handmade Christmas card from her at Christmas time. She was also quite an avid gardener. She had a very green thumb and had a house full of plants. She could always be found in her garden. Marjorie had a special place in her heart for animals. She rescued anything that came along. She was very big in the greyhound rescue association and had many greyhounds over the years. Marjorie always wanted to stay busy and help others. She spent years helping care for her grandchildren when they were younger. In the later years she spent much of her time helping her daughter with her farm and all the animals. She was even known to get on and ride a horse once in a while. She also loved to read and listen to her classical music. Toward the end of her life, she was cared for by the wonderful staff at the Best of Care Assisted Living facility as well as Hospice of Cabarrus County. She really did have the best of care, and the family is eternally grateful. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Frederick R. Fielding Jr.; brother, Henry Coe Kinderman; sister-in-law, Jane J. Fielding and daughter in law, Pamela L. Fielding. Those left to cherish Marjorie's memory are her son, Frederick R. Fielding III; daughter, Beth Setzer (Robert); granddaughters, Whitney Hines (Matt); Marissa Vincent (Andy); Brett Borrello (Justin); grandson, Benjaminn Fielding (Rachael); great grandson, Francis Vincent and dearest and best friend, Nina Walzer of New Jersey.
