Richard "Rit" Vincent Pacella, Sr., 77, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Mooresville. He was born on September 22, 1944 in Newburgh, New York, to the late Rocco and Mary Alfano Pacella. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Rocco Pacella, Michael Pacella, and Carl Pacella. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lowe Pacella; children, Heather Pacella of Mooresville, NC, Richard Pacella, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; granddaughter, Gianna Musto of Mooresville, NC' sister, Frieda Gozza of Newburgh, NY; dog, Bellarose; cat, Vincenzio; and bird, Mango. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24 from 6:00-8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
