Rebecca Jane Waller

March 6, 1946 - February 21, 2022

Rebecca "Becky" Orbison Waller, 75, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022 at her residence. She was born on March 6, 1946 in Iredell County, NC, to the late Edward and Beulah Parker Orbison. Ms. Waller was a lifelong member of Concordia Lutheran Church in China Grove; where she was a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, and drove the church bus. She was also a Girl Scout, Boy Scout, and 4H leader. Ms. Waller was an EMT and firefighter for Atwell Fire Department. She enjoyed sewing and gardening flowers and vegetables. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Waller, son, Billy Waller; sisters, Peggy Stuart, Frances Karriker; brothers, Darrell Orbison, Cecil Orbison, and Wayne Orbison She is survived by her children, Melinda Dabbs (Kenny), Julia Houck (Leonard), Robert Waller (Debbie), Debbie Shepherd (Larry), Sammy Waller (Tangie) and daughter-in-law Sharon Waller; brothers, Phillip Orbison (Patty Morrow), Edward Orbison, Jr. (Frances); sisters, Catherine Love (Bill), Phyllis Honeycutt, Patty Jean Orbison; 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
