Pamela "Pam" Biggins Devine was a kind and caring wife, mom, and friend. She left this world suddenly on June 16, 2022 at the age of 66. Born on April 7th, 1956 in Minerva, Ohio to Arthur and Trudy Biggins, she was then raised in Akron with her older brother, Jim. She worked her way through college and completed her B.S.A. Cum Laude from Akron University in 1978. Not long after, she met Terry Devine (and his RX-7) and they were married in August of 1983 before having two children, Samantha and Eric. The family moved to Mooresville, North Carolina in 1989 where she and Terry built a home and life. She was the family organizer and a world-class navigator for vacation road trips. In her latest venture, she was looking forward to forging westward with Terry to see the Grand Canyon in a yet-to-be-purchased Class C RV. Pam was a lover of all creatures - winged, finned, or four-legged. She loved dogs especially, and continued to support the ones she couldn't personally adopt through virtual pledges to help save as many as she could. She was a numbers wizard and enjoyed all types of problem solving. For over 30 years, she lead Pratt industries as controller, able to project tonnages of material over the course of months and somehow accurate within pounds. In her retirement, she was a puzzler extraordinaire - be it Wordle, Sudoku, or classic jigsaw puzzles, she was determined to find the answer and bring calm to the chaos. But more than any of that, Pam was an incredible mom to Sam and Eric and life partner to Terry. She was a compassionate and empathetic woman who will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Services will be held privately in her backyard garden oasis where she spent many hours cultivating it with love.
