Mrs. Judy Thompson Paschal, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 26, 1940, in Alamance County, North Carolina, Judy was the cherished daughter of the late Harvey and Ida Thompson. Judy lived a life defined by devotion-to her family, her faith, and her work. For 21 years, she served as the Purchasing Agent for Industrial Electric in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was respected for her dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic. Above all else, Judy's greatest joy was her family. She shared 64 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Clyde V. Paschal. Together they built a loving home filled with faith, laughter, and lasting memories. Judy was a devoted mother and grandmother whose kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Clyde V. Paschal; her oldest daughter, Janell Kessler and husband David Kessler; grandchildren Stephen Kessler and wife Alyssa, and Hannah Kessler and Jason Kessler; and her youngest daughter, Annette Edwards and husband Bryan Edwards; grandchildren Joshua Edwards and Mallory Edwards. She is also survived by brother Glenn Thompson (wife Shirley) and brother Jerry Thompson. Judy's legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the countless lives she touched through her compassion, generosity, and quiet strength. She will be remembered for her warm heart, steadfast faith, and the grace with which she lived her life. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 12, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Earl Pennel, a close friend of the family, will officiate the service. Burial will immediately follow at West Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, 120 Corinth Church Road, Mooresville, NC 28115. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to West Corinth Baptist Church.
