Brenda Wilson Gardner, 76, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at her home. She was born on November 9, 1945, in Mooresville, to the late Milas Leroy Wilson and Eva Mae Lambert Wilson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Arnold Woodie Carver, Jr.; brother, Wade Wilson and wife, Leona, and sister-in-law, Ruth Wilson. Brenda was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She loved the Sunshine Club at Southside along with her Sunday school class. She loved to crochet and made many special gifts for family and friends, which she did a lot of at Centenary UMC where her crochet club met. She loved all animals, especially her cats, but most of all she loved her family and friends. Brenda is survived by her children, Bobby Carver (Lisa), Lisa Beam, and Michael Kistler; brothers, David Wilson (Merry) and Jimmie Wilson; grandchildren, Melissa Carver (Nathan), Christine Wheeler (Brendon), Amber Carver Wood, Daniel Beam, and Joshua Carver; great-grandchildren, Aliyah Thompson (Triston), Zachary Eller, Holly Eller, Braiden Wheeler, Wyatt Wheeler, and Lincoln Wood. Services for Brenda will be held on Thursday, August 11, at 1:30 PM at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Klinedinst officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service from 12:30 - 1:30 PM. Burial will be at 3:00 PM at Iredell Memorial Park, Statesville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 525 S. Broad St., Mooresville NC 28115, or Stand for Animals, 2714 Charlotte Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28117.
