Barbara Ann Hayes November 29, 1942 - February 4, 2022 Mooresville, North Carolina After a lifetime of serving others, Barbara Ann Hayes, 79, of Mooresville, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022, surrounded by family. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Rev. Thomas and Elizabeth Ellerbe and sister, Mary Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph Hayes; two daughters and their spouses, Cynthia and Scott Hunter and Rebecca and Andrew Pfeiffer; six grandchildren, Zachary Hunter, Hannah Gibson, Alycia Pfeiffer, Sarah Pfeiffer, Jonathon Pfeiffer, and Alex Hunter; great granddaughter Ellie Gibson; sister and spouse, Carol and Larry Coker; brother and spouse, Gene and Gayle Ellerbe. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 12 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, Mooresville, NC proceeded by a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. with Dr. Mark E. Harris officiating. A private burial will immediately follow at Iredell Memorial Garden, 2304 Shelton Avenue, Statesville, NC.
