Rev. William C. Vigue, 68, died suddenly on Friday, June 10 in Mooresville, NC. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Mariano Vigue. Born in Danbury, CT, March 15,1954, he was the son of the late Charles and Anita (Bisson) Vigue. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Gabrielle Vigue of Charlotte, NC and Mary Duncan and her husband Chris Duncan of New Milford, CT and son Michael Vigue and wife Madeline of Chanhassen, MN; and five grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Emery, William, Benjamin, and Weston Duncan and Titus Vigue. He is survived by two sisters, Patricia Vigue of New Milford, CT, and Shirley Griffith (Andy) of Fayetteville, NC, and brother Robert Vigue (Joyce) of Brookfield, CT, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Pastor Bill, as he was known by most, graduated from Bethel High School and at the age of 25 Jesus Christ got a hold of his life and he felt a call into full time ministry. He attended Rhema Bible Institute and founded Bright Cloud Ministries, as well as Meat of the Word Ministries. He spent his life teaching the Word of God. Bill was a man who had a passionate love for God and for people. He was moved by compassion and kindness and wanted to always share the great grace and healing that only comes through knowing Jesus Christ. He spent his days studying The Word and with a pastor's heart quietly visiting the needs of hurting people. His video teachings touched people around the world. To those who knew and loved him, he will be remembered for his generous heart, sense of humor, dogged determination to serve God, his deep love for his family and enjoying his precious grandchildren. He was an avid fan of baseball, gardening, and the study of history. He will be sadly missed on earth, but he is rejoicing in the presence of God and with the loved ones who have gone on before him. The Memorial Services will be held at New Milford Assembly in New Milford, CT on Tuesday, June 21 at 10:30am. Live stream of the service will be available. Burial will be private in New Milford, CT.
