Ronald Lee Williams, 85, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, at Ignite Medical Resort Huntersville. Born on February 26, 1941, in Mooresville, he was the beloved son of the late Jesse Franklin Williams and Gertha Elizabeth Curry Williams. Ronald's journey was marked by his dedicated service at Templon Spinning Mill, where he devoted many years to inventory control in the textile industry. Outside of work, he was a nurturing spirit, known for his love of animals and his cherished chickens. His green thumb flourished in his garden, where he found joy in tending to each plant. Known for his kindness and willingness to help others, Ronald had a remarkable ability to light up the lives of those around him. In addition to his warm heart, Ronald is remembered for the legacy of love he leaves behind. He is survived by his sons, Timothy "Tim" Lee Williams (Christina) and Christopher "Chris" George Williams (Toni). His family also includes his beloved grandchildren, Christy, Mara, Tabatha, Xavier, and Maria, along with his great-grandchildren, Temperance, Malachi, Lydia, Deacon, and another on the way and his sister, Barbara W. Brown. Ronald was preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald along with brothers, Lonnie, Jasper, Harold and Monroe Williams, and his sisters, Lona W. Cobb, Lucile W. Russell, and Beatrice W. Young. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel in Mooresville. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:30 to 2 PM, just prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the ceremony, Ronald will be laid to rest at Glenwood Memorial Park in Mooresville. "Spring is by far my favorite time of the year, Because all that once seemed dead begins to reappear. The dull, cold, white winter can no longer be seen, For now there is bright sunlight and all the world is green. The birds sing in the treetops all the day long, And everyone joins them in singing this glad new song. But there is more important reason why Spring is so dear, And that is because Easter will soon be here. Just as Christmas is God's promise of life eternally, Easter is the proof for all the world to see.
