Lucy Marie Demski Timmermann 1928-2024 Lucy Marie Daniels Timmermann peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 2, 2024, at her home in Davidson, North Carolina. Lucy was born on May 20, 1928, in Sanford, Michigan to Louis and Phyllis Ivy (Brazier) Daniels, who predeceased her. He father had immigrated from Naples, Italy and her mother from England. Lucy was very proud of her heritage. She married Vanarsdale Demski on February 4, 1948. Together they had five children and resided in Midland, Michigan. He predeceased her on August 17, 2000. Lucy was residing in Punta Gorda, Florida when she met Walter Timmermann whom she married and moved to Carolina Shores, North Carolina. He predeceased her in October 2021. Lucy was predeceased by her daughter Lucy Ann (LuAnn) Wagner in December 2021 and her brothers, Charles, Harry, Fred, Ronald, Arthur Daniels and sister Phyllis Wilcox. Surviving are her 4 sons, Vanarsdale (Sandy) Demski, Cleveland, Texas, Frank Demski, Midland, Michigan, Thomas (Jeannie) Demski, Davidson, North Carolina and Charles (Renee) Demski of Lockport, New York. A special son-in-law, Kevin Wagner and daughter-in-law, Marcia Demski, both of Midland, Michigan. 11 Grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Lucy worked with her husband Dale for many years in Amway Corporation as Ruby Direct Distributors, she worked at Michigan Bell Telephone where she retired and then opened her own nail/beauty salon, Beauty by Lucy Marie in Midland, Michigan until she sold it to her daughter, LuAnn and moved to Florida. Lucy and Walt were very active in the VFW in Calabash, North Carolina along with her quilt club. Lucy was an avid sewer making beautiful quilts for her family and to donate to soldiers. She was still sewing with her son Tom up until she died. Together they made her last 3 quilts for family Christmas presents. We would like to thank the VIA-Lake Norman Hospice and Pam Foltz for the special care they gave her during her final days, Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Friday, June 7, 2024, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church 3516 East Monroe Road, Midland, MI 48642. Luncheon and Fellowship to immediately follow the service at Larkin Township Hall, 3016 North Jefferson Road, Midland, MI 48642. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville is proudly serving the Timmermann family.
