A New Angel, Eva Renee Henrikson, 90, of Lake Norman, NC, formerly of Long Island, NY, passed peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Autumn Care in Huntersville, NC. Our mom, Eva Diva, will be so missed by all of us, as we loved her dearly. Thankfully, her love for us is eternal! She was born on October 26, 1926 in Hamburg, Germany, and the only child to the late Frances Bacher and Johanna Adrian Bacher. Her family arrived in the 1940’s at Ellis Island. Eva dedicated 60 years of service as a Registered Nurse and subsequently in the medical field as an administrator and auditor. Mom loved each member of our family and all her friends. She loved exercise and walking, which Parkinson’s disease took from her. She has her new legs, walking forever more! In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her Loves; husbands, Charles J. Chase, Dr. Frances D. Maloney, and her last Love, Jon H. Henrikson; and sadly, daughter, Margaret "Peggy" Chase. She is survived by all who loved and will miss her forever, favorite only son, Charles B. Chase and wife, Denise Chase; daughter and caretaker, Joanne Chase Moser and her husband, Zeb, "JR" C. Moser, Jr.; daughter and special friend, Pamela Chase; step children, Jon Henrikson and wife Sherri, Cindy Henrikson (passed away 2016), and Stacy Henrikson; a loving Meme to grandchildren, Amanda Renee Holdridge and husband, Chris Bryan Chase, Maja Rosedale and husband, Greg, Harvey Robillard, IV, Melissa Renee Moser, Zeb C. Moser, III and wife, Alex, best birthday present, Zechariah "Chase" Moser, Jon Henrikson, Jr. and Will Henrikson; great-grandchildren, Amelia, Lucien and Justin Rosedale, Isabella Robillard and Jules Holdridge. A memorial service will be held on Lake Norman for her 91st birthday in October 2017, when all Eva’s family and friends can join in the celebration of her life.
