Beverly Ann Wallo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on March 17, 1944, in Nyack, NY, she was the daughter of Harry and Edith Rose Twitchen. Beverly's life was filled with love, creativity, and compassion, reflecting her vibrant spirit and commitment to family and community. After graduating from Nyack High School, Beverly began her professional journey at Lederle Laboratories in Pearl River, NY. It was here that she met her devoted husband, Robert Wallo, to whom she was married for an enduring 62 years. Following a move to New Jersey and a fulfilling period as a stay-at-home mom, Beverly returned to the workforce at American Cyanamid in Wayne, NJ, where she advanced from medical typist to Data Analyst in the Lederle International Medical Division. In October 1997, Beverly and Robert embraced a new chapter in their lives by retiring to the picturesque town of Mooresville, NC. In Mooresville, Beverly's talents flourished as a skilled seamstress and active member of the Mooresville Quilters Guild. Her artistry and generosity found expression in the numerous beautiful quilts she crafted for family, friends, and local charities. Further showcasing her dedication to community, Beverly volunteered her keen typing and proofreading skills, contributing to various organizations by producing member directories and newsletters. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Edith Twitchen; her sisters, Arlene Brett and Phyllis Eagen; and her brother, Alan Twitchen. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; her loving daughters, Carolyn Wallo (Dave DeQuick) and Diana Wallo (Mark Michalski); her cherished grandchildren, Trevor and Kate Stahl; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Twitchen and Laura O'Connor; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Memorial contributions in Beverly's name may be made to Hospice of Iredell County, honoring the compassion she showed to others throughout her life. Beverly's warmth and creativity will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
