We feel privileged to offer services and/or benefits to our veteran's families to commemorate their service to our nation. We are committed to taking care of all the details involved in providing the veteran with meaningful ceremonies.
Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory can help families in the following ways:
- Complete applications for all veterans’ benefits, including Military Honors, Presidential Memorial Certificate and veteran memorial marker or headstones
- Coordinate necessary documentation provided by family to request honors
- Coordinate with national or state veterans’ cemeteries
- Create a healing experience for family and friends

Who is eligible?
Veterans who have been honorably discharged and completed the required period of service from any of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to receive veteran honors. In some cases, their spouses and dependent children are also eligible. Before planning a funeral service with veteran honors, you will need to obtain proof of military services (Form DD214).
