Susan Kee Lambert

April 3, 1947 - June 10, 2022

Susan Ann Kee Lambert, 75, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2022, at Novant Health Hospital, Huntersville, NC. She was born on April 3, 1947, in Mecklenburg County, to the late Fred Kee and Frances Goforth Kee Owens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Creg Lambert and stepfather, R. J. Owens. Susan was a faithful member of Lake City Church. Her grandchildren were the love of her life. Susan was an avid fan of Duke University Blue Devils. She was employed with Mooresville Graded Schools before her retirement. Susan is survived by her children, Christine Griffin and Brian Lambert; grandchildren, Chase Morrison, Nicole and Jake Griffin, Brian and Brianna Lambert. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, June 13, from 6-8 PM, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Services will be on Tuesday, June 14, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Pastor Eddie Karriker officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 PM in Mt. Zion Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma/American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 11796, Charlotte, NC 28220. Burial will follow the service at Mt.
