Mary Jane Miner Mitchell, 69, of Mooresville, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022, at her residence. Born October 10, 1952, in Columbus, OH, she was a daughter of the late Charles Patrick Miner and Norma Jean Hosey Miner. Mrs. Mitchell was a retired representative in Human Resources. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville. She was so strong in her faith and prayer, she sent Psalms every morning to all of her siblings and was very proud of being a eucharistic minister. Mrs. Mitchell enjoyed collecting Precious Moments memorabilia. She also enjoyed watching soap operas and Netflix, spending time with family, loving all of her animals and playing games such as Bingo. Her grandchildren were her world. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by a brother, James "Jim" Miner. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David "Dave" E. Mitchell; children, Sandra Mitchell, David Raymond Mitchell (Nicola) and Christina Mitchell; brothers, Pat Miner (Roxanne) and Tom Miner; sisters, Cathy Miner, Elizabeth Frank (Richard), Michele Murray, Meg Bickel (Mark) and Joanne DiSalvi (Tom); grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Sophia Wiggins, Kiara Mitchell and Leigh Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 - 7 PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7 PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville.
