Grace Elizabeth Raby

February 11, 1927 - May 24, 2022

Grace Kennerly Raby, 95, of Mooresville, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 11, 1927 in Mooresville, NC, to the late James and Polly Lowe Kennerly. Mrs. Raby was retired from Margaret's Beauty Shop and for many years was a member of the Adah Chapter #258 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Mooresville, where she was a member of the Ruby Robinson Sunday School Class. She loved gardening, walking, and helping her husband, T.C., with his many projects. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Raby; son, Tommy Raby; sister, Sarah Stewart; and brother, Robert Kennerly. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Childers and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Jennifer Childers, Eric Childers and wife, Elise, Amy Rierson and husband, Charlie; and great grandchildren, Madelyn, Ada, Rhett, Emily, Piper, and Pierce. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 27 from 1:00-2:00 PM in the church fellowship hall with a service following at 2:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Ross O'Neal officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park.
