Carolyn Lyall Benfield, 50, of Statesville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville. She was born on November 2, 1971 in Iredell County, NC, to the late Carl and Ruby Bunton Lyall. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Savannah Sandoval (Enrique) and Hannah Benfield; grandchildren, Anna Berryman, Israel Sandoval; sisters, Karen Barnes, Cherie Cook (Jerry); father of her children and friend, Jeremy Benfield (Shari); and special friend, Paul Manuel. Her best days started with Nana and ended with Nana. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Benfield family.
