Zerma Cosart Scheiwe, 90, of Long Island, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Huntersville Oaks, Huntersville, NC.
She was born on January 14, 1922 in Cowden, IL, to the late Earnest and Ruth Fowler Cosart.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Virgil Scheiwe; infant daughter, Judith Ann Scheiwe; brothers, Raymond and Wilbur Cosart.
She is survived by daughters, Donna Pretzer, Pamela Rodgers and husband, Gary; brother, Herschel Cosart; grandchildren, Jason Pretzer & wife, Tammy, Jeffrey Pretzer & wife, Stacie, Brent Pretzer & wife, Beth, Monica Abbotte & husband, Jeff, Bryan Rodgers & wife, Heather, Rebecca Phares & husband, Jacob, Gregory Rodgers & wife, Morgan, & Christina Rodgers; and eleven great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 2 at American Lutheran Church in Clinton Township, MI. Burial will follow the service at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of donor’s choice.
