William Carl "Bill" Tennant

William Carl “Bill” Tennant, 56, of Tennant Ln., Mooresville, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012, at his residence. Born June 29, 1955, in Waynesburg, PA, he was a son of Herbert E. Tennant, of Mooresville, and the late Elinor Burge Tennant. Mr. Tennant was a self-employed tool and die maker. He was a member of the Masons in Cornelius. In addition to his father, Mr. Tennant is survived by daughters, Laura Leigh Tennant and Scott Davis, and Carla Nicole Tennant, both of Mooresville; brothers, Albert “Gene” Tennant, of Mooresville, and George Tennant, of Davidson; sister, Dreama Tennant Shove, of Mooresville; and grandchildren, Blake Davis, Brooklyn Davis and Alice Goble. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 7:30 PM.
