Willard Carl Dockery

Willard Carl Dockery, 82, of Mooresville, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2011, at his residence. Born February 25, 1929, in Andrews, NC, he was a son of the late Nathan and Alice Postell Dockery. Mr. Dockery was a retired supervisor at Duke Power Company. He was a WWII veteran having served in the US Navy. Mr. Dockery was preceded in death by a son, Danny Dockery, and a brother, Thurman Dockery. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann Dalton Dockery; daughter, Judy Dockery, of Mooresville; brother, Johnny Dockery and wife, Jeannie, of South Carolina; sister, Doris Wilson, of Andrews, NC; and nephews, Phillip Wilson and Ray Dockery. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Monday, October 24, 2011, at Valley Town Cemetery, Andrews, NC. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the family of Mr. Dockery.
