Thomas Martin McCauley, 59, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011.
He was born on February 13, 1952 in Valley Stream, NY, to the late John and Ruth McCauley. An expert craftsman and accomplished swimmer, Tom loved sharing the family home at the lake.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Jackson McCauley; children, Kimberly McCauley of Charlotte, Patrick McCauley of Mooresville, Megan Mitterko and husband, Edward of Charlotte; sisters, Sheila O’Donnell of Groton, CT, Anne Marie Boberg of Garnet Valley, PA, Maureen Keilman of Marlboro, NJ; brothers, John McCauley of Mooresville, Dr. Paul McCauley of Silver Springs, MD, and twin brother, Phil McCauley of Wayland, MA.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 11 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:30 PM with a Celebration of Life to be held at 6:30 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel.
