Ruby Wray Lovingood

Ruby Wray Lovingood, 85, of Terrell, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Mooresville. Born February 18, 1926, in Gaffney, SC, she was a daughter of the late D. F. and Catherine Flynn Wray. Mrs. Lovingood was retired from Chemspun. She was preceded in death by husbands, Cecil Harwell and Cordin Lovingood; one sister and six brothers. Mrs. Lovingood is survived by a son, Eddie Harwell and wife, Janet, of Cleveland; brother, D. F. Wray and wife, Carrie, of Conover; sister, Thelma Wysong, of Catawba; special girls, Paige Olson and Jordyn Beck; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carolina Piedmont Chapter, Alzheimer’s Association, 3420 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215.
