Robert Henry Fleming

Robert Henry Fleming, 73, of Kenlough Dr., Kannapolis, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011, at his residence. Born January 26, 1938, in Mooresville, he was a son of the late Robert Vance and Lillian Dameron Fleming. Mr. Fleming was a retired machine operator for Alcan Composites in Statesville. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hilton; grandson, Lee Barnette; and brother-in-law, Jerry Vickers. Mr. Fleming is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Libby” Garmon Fleming; daughter, Lori Walton and husband, Bubba, of Troutman; brother, Dickie Fleming and wife, Alice, of Mooresville; sisters, Marie Hilton and Olivia Vickers, both of Mooresville; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hilton, of Mooresville; grandson, Jeffery Barnette and wife, Rebecca, of Statesville; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel, Mooresville, with Rev. Mitch Thomas and Mr. Trent Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
