Raymond Alfred Wilson

February 22, 1929 - August 30, 2011

Raymond Alfred Wilson, 82, of Mooresville, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on February 22, 1929 in Pennsboro, WV, to the late Dorothy Huntsman. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Navy and was retired from Mooresville Ford after over 20 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Huntersville.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonita Meadows Wilson; children, Cathy Thomas and husband, Jack, Connie Barkley, Carol Ferguson, Cheryl McKiernan and husband, Hank, Caren Dellinger, Cindy Taylor and husband, Richard, Claire Johnson and husband, David; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 2 at First Baptist Church in Huntersville with Rev. Spurgeon Dorton officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
