Ramesh "Ron" Hirabhai Desai

Ramesh Hirabhai “Ron” Desai, 58, of Sasanoa Dr., Cornelius, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2011, at Presbyterian Hospital, Huntersville. Born April 30, 1953, in Chanvai, India, he was a son of the late Hirabhai Desai and Kesharben Desai. Mr. Desai was an owner/operator in the Hotel Industry serving Mecklenburg County. He was a member of the North Mecklenburg Rotary Club. Mr. Desai is survived by his wife, Madhuben Desai, children, Hetal Ramesh Desai and husband, Mehul Shah, Niyati Ramesh Desai and husband, Raju Patel, and Jatin Ramesh Desai; brothers, Thakorbhai H. Desai and Ishverbhai H. Desai; and grandchildren, Sahil Mehul Shah, Avi Mehul Shah, and Ayden Mehul Shah. He was preceded in death by a brother, Parsottam Hirabhai Desai, and sister, Laxmiben N. Patel. Last rites according to Hindu Ritual will be held at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel, Mooresville, at 11 AM, Tuesday, November 22, 2011. The family will receive friends from 5 – 6 PM, Sunday, November 20, 2011, and Monday, November 21, 2011, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
