Pauline Plamondon Portanova

Pauline Plamondon Portanova, 58, of Ridgecrest Dr., Mooresville, formerly of Littleton, MA, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. Born September 6, 1953, in Nashua, NH, she was a daughter of the late Aurel and Cecile Laflotte Plamondon. Pauline was a homemaker and very active in the Special Olympics of Lake Norman. She is survived by her husband, Larry Portanova; daughters, Magen Marie Portanova and husband, Mark Scarboro, and Laura Jean Portanova; brothers, Robert “Rap” Plamondon, Paul Plamondon, and Roger Plamondon; sister, Denise Lavoie; and granddaughter, Kennedy Harris Scarboro. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville. Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM, Monday, September 12, 2011, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
