Minnie Argo Junkin

May 7, 1926 - January 26, 2012

Minnie Argo Junkin, 85, of Mooresville, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 7, 1926 in Nashville, TN, to the late Hugh and Laura Donnell Argo. She was retired from Davidson College and an active member of First Baptist Church in Mooresville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Junkin and wife, Patricia of Williamsburg, VA, Rusty Junkin and wife, Martha of Hattiesburg, MS; granddaughter, Kirsten Junkin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 28 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jerry Cloninger officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
