Michael Cavallaro

Michael Cavallaro, 79, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at his residence.
He was born on February 21, 1933 in New Haven, CT, to the late Anthony and Catherine Iovine Cavallaro. He served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He owned his own barber shop for over 30 years in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and was a longtime member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, FL. Mr. Cavallaro loved gardening, landscaping, collecting sailboats, and spending time with his grandchildren that he was so proud of.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carole Tolli Cavallaro; daughters, Lisa Feller and husband, Mike of Mooresville, NC, Laurie Renisoff of Cooper City, FL; brothers, Frank and Anthony Cavallaro both of CT; and grandchildren, Michael and wife, Kaini, Danielle, Nicole, Erica and Aaron.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 23 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Mooresville. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the Mass at the church.
