Mercedes Mora Jones

June 20, 1946 - August 29, 2011

Mercedes Mora Jones, 65, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.
She was born on June 20, 1946 in Ecuador, to the late Vicente Mora Perez and Mercedes Maria Teran Delgado. She was a CNA for Lake Norman Regional Medical Center and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Moore Jones.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Jones, Daniel Jones both of Mooresville; eight brothers and sisters, including a brother locally, Rodrigo Mora; and a niece, Lourdes Vallejo Hartsell.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 2 at St. Therese Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:30-9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
