Madie Overcash Schade

October 21, 1922 - January 1, 2012

Madie Overcash Schade, 89, of Mooresville, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
She was born on October 21, 1922 in Iredell County, to the late Sam and Blanche Arthurs Overcash. She was a commercial interior designer in Charlotte and later was the founder of The Nursing Homes Ministries and Large Print Ministries.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Schade; sister, Nellie Overcash Wrenn; and brother, Robert Johnston Overcash.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Ralph Brawley of Mooresville, Dain Overcash of San Antonio, TX, Timmy Overcash of Jacksonville, FL, and Sherry Alexander of Mooresville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 4 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
