Kathryn Poole Kluttz

Kathryn Poole Kluttz, 82, of Teeter Rd., Mooresville, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center, Mooresville. Born August 4, 1929, in Mooresville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Ed Monroe Poole and Ruda Broome Poole. Mrs. Kluttz was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Prospect Presbyterian Church, Mooresville. Mrs. Kluttz was an avid card player and reader. She also loved to vacation at the coast and enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Kluttz was preceded in death by husband, Quentin Kluttz; son: Charles Kluttz; and sister, Margaret Patterson. She is survived by her children, Beverley Bartlett and husband, David, and Sylvia Kerr and husband, Dennis; sister, Waynoka Neel; grandchildren, Tonya Neill, Aaron Styborski, Thomas Kerr and David Bartlett; four step-grandchildren; two great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Prospect Presbyterian Church, Mooresville, with Rev. Joanne Hull officiating. The family will receive friends a half hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prospect Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall Fund, 9425 W NC Hwy 152, Mooresville, NC 28115.
