John Rollins Campbell

John Rollins Campbell, 78, of Mooresville, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 in Mooresville, NC.
He was born on January 19, 1933 in Waycross, GA, to the late Walter Elijah and Verna Britt Campbell. He was a veteran serving in the US Air Force. Mr. Campbell graduated from University of Georgia, where he played football. He was a retired Vice President from Sysco at Imperial Sugar Company and a member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Mooresville, NC.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Walt Campbell.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Killian Campbell; daughters, Karen “Lori” Evans and husband, Lee of Mooresville, NC, Joni Townsend and husband, Gerald of High Land Village, TX; brother, Bill “Kowboy” Campbell and wife, Sandi of Bluffton, SC; sister-in-law, Audrey Campbell of Statesboro, GA; grandchildren, Jordan and Cameron Evans, Christina and Joshua Townsend.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 12 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Home, Hodgson Chapel, 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA.
