James William Freeland

James William Freeland, 87, of French Belk Rd., Mt. Ulla, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2011, at Brian Center, Mooresville.
Born January 26, 1924, in Iredell County, he was a son of the late Thomas Andrew and Frances Sowers Freeland. Mr. Freeland was a retired TV repairman. He was a lifetime member of Triplett United Methodist Church, Mooresville.
Mr. Freeland was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Freeland, and sister, Irene Goins.
He is survived by brothers, Clyde Freeland and wife, Pat, of Mt. Ulla, and Henry Freeland and wife, Lena, of Mt. Ulla; and sisters, Annie Hill, of Mooresville, and Marie Freeland, of Mt. Ulla.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, November 18, 2011, at Triplett United Methodist Church, Mooresville, with Rev. William Roberts and Rev. J. C. West officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 AM, prior to the service at the church.
