James Hewitt Mairs, 70, of Mooresville, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at his residence.
He was born April 29, 1941 in New York, NY, to the late Edwin Hays and Mary Hewitt Mairs. He was a former Apple Computer Salesman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Dows Mairs, III.
He is survived by a son, John Benton Mairs and former wife, Cindy Mairs of Mooresville and a special friend, his dog “Sierra”.
A Memorial Service will be held at the home of his son on Sunday, April 29, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454,
