George David Neill

George “David” Neill, 49, of Neill Farm Rd., Troutman, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Gordon Hospice House, Statesville. Born July 11, 1962, in Mooresville, he was a son of Rebecca McIntyre Neill, of Troutman, and the late George “Buck” Haynes Neill. He was a member of the Mason’s Campbell Lodge. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his children, Mallory Rogers and husband, Joseph, of Cary, and Colton Neill, of Charlotte; the mother of his children, Kathy Neill; and a brother, John Neill, of Providence, RI. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Fallstown Baptist Church, Troutman, with Rev. David Troutman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Rd., Statesville, NC 28625. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the family of Mr. Neill.
