Geneva Hallman Honeycutt

February 26, 1922 - January 2, 2012

Geneva Hallman Honeycutt, 89, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Brian Center in Mooresville.
She was born on February 26, 1922 in Kannapolis, to the late Beverly and Anna Thornburg Hallman. She was a retired therapist at Lowrance Hospital and a member of Centre Presbyterian Church in Mooresville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Honeycutt; and four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Meadows and husband, Wrenn of Mooresville; grandchildren, Robin Utley and husband, David, Julie Rodgers and husband, Kem; great grandchildren, Kyle and Tyler Utley and Max Rodgers; step grandchildren, Wendy Hill and husband, Chris, Kristi Richardson and husband, Jeffrey.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4 from 1:15-1:45 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home followed by the burial in Centre Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM. A Memorial service will follow at 2:30 PM in the church sanctuary with Rev. Dr. Robert Howard officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centre Presbyterian Church, 129 Centre Church Road, Mooresville, NC 28117 and/or Hospice of Catawba Valley, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
