Frank LaRue Gilliland

Frank LaRue Gilliland, 79, of Mooresville, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on November 22, 1931 in Waynesville, to the late Frank Paul and Annie May Yarborough Gilliland. He was retired from the Burlington Industries. He was a member of Whitman Park Baptist Church, the Mooresville Moose Lodge, and of the Citizens Band Radio Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Perkins Gilliland; five brothers; one sister; and granddaughters, Sunshine, Hillary and LeeAnn.
He is survived by his children, Peggy Gilliland of Trenton, FL, Paul Gilliland and wife, Holley of Washington, PA, Donna Lynn Armour and husband, Rickie of Mooresville, Jack Gilliland of Mooresville; grandchildren, Timothy Gilliland and wife, Wanda of GA, Hannah Sheffield and husband, Johnathan of Trenton, FL, Adam Gilliland and wife, Robyn of Mooresville; great grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Erica; and two sisters and one brother.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19 at Glenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 1:00 PM at Mr. Gilliland’s home on East Gray Ave.
