Frances Morris Wilson

Frances Morris Wilson, 67, of Mooresville Manor, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Born May 3, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Mildred Lingerman Morris. Mrs. Wilson was a retired manager for Exxon Oil Company. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Troutman. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ray Wilson, Sr.; son, Larry Ray Wilson, Jr.; and sisters, Claudette Cox and Nancy Testerman. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Patsy Wilson, of Mooresville; brother, Kenneth Bennette, of Baltimore, MD; sisters, Phyllis Beard and husband, George, and Sandra Cox and husband, Rondell, both of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Candy Hardwick, Christy Sanders, Kathy Pressley, Shiane Blackwood, Kayla Blackwood and Jason Ray Burton; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel, Mooresville, with Rev. Beau Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, Monday, January 23, 2012, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
