Eunice Price Harwell

Eunice Price Harwell, 85, of Garner, formerly of Mooresville, died peacefully on Sept. 27 after a long illness at The Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner.
She was born on December 5, 1925 and raised in Johnston County, to the late Dalley and Essie Campbell Price. Mrs. Harwell graduated from Corinth-Holders High School and from Kings Business College. She made Mooresville her home for some 58 years where she served many years as Secretary to Mooresville City Schools. In retirement she worked at the Mooresville Animal Hospital. Mrs. Harwell was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Mooresville. She was dedicated to her family, her church, her community and was a friend to all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Harwell; sister, Inez; brothers Arnold, Elbert, and Dwight.
She is survived by her sister, Ovelia Rockwell of Goldsboro; and brother, Carl Price and wife Faye of Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 29 at Glenwood Memorial Park followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Sherrill officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
