Eric George Granros

Eric George Granros, 51, of Clear Springs Rd., Mooresville, passed away peacefully, from pancreatic cancer, on Sunday, October 16, 2011, surrounded by his loved ones. Born May 19, 1960, in Glen Cove, NY, he was the son of the late George and Jennie Giwojna Granros. Mr. Granros was a US Postal carrier and landscaper. He is survived by his wife, Lena Lamarche (Mars); daughters, Jennie Meehan, Erika Granros, Christa Granros, and son-in-law, David Meehan, all of Mooresville; daughter-in-heart, Sandra Belcastro, of Glen Cove, NY; first wife, Debbie Granros, her mother, Marie Filippone, and her brother, Elia Filippone, all of Mooresville; granddaughter, Emily Ann Meehan; and numerous cousins and friends. Visitations will take place from 6 – 8:30 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville. A memorial tree planting will take place at home: 197 Clear Springs Road in Mooresville at 7 PM, Saturday, October 22, 2011. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date in Glen Cove, NY.
