Emilie Saltarelli Catania

February 23, 1921 - January 25, 2012

Emilie Saltarelli Catania, 90, of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
She was born on February 23, 1921 in Buffalo, NY, to the late Donato and Louisa Grasso Saltarelli. She was retired from real estate management and from Curtis Wright. She was a volunteer for the US Army Core in WWII and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Limburg.
She is survived by her children, Christina L. Marvel and husband, Glenn, Mark J. Catania and wife, Diane; brother, Cedio Saltarelli; and grandchildren, Keith Marvel, Ava Marvel, Melissa Catania, and Allyson Catania.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 28 from 2:00-5:00 PM with a prayer service at 4:30 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
