Curtis Scott Lemley

March 2, 1962 - October 23, 2011

Curtis Scott Lemley of Mooresville, died October 23, 2011. Mr. Lemley was born March 2, 1962 in Allegan, Michigan to Fred Lemley and Lila Lemley. Curt was married to Julie Proctor Lemley on April 17, 1999. He was a professional tennis instructor at River Run Country Club in Davidson.
He was predeceased by his father, Fred Lemley. He is survived by his wife, Julie Proctor Lemley of the home; his mother, Lila Lemley of Holland, Michigan; brothers Jeffrey Lemley and wife Sally of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Craig Allen Lemley and wife Ana Maria of Matthews; sister Janis Myers of Holland, Michigan. Also surviving are two sons, Vernon Betts Powell of Atlanta, Georgia and Julian Proctor Powell of Mooresville; brothers in law Wes Proctor, Sr. and wife Judy of Raleigh and Fred Proctor, Jr. and wife Cindy of Greensboro. In addition survivors include six nephews and five nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26 from 7 to 9 pm at 151 Milford Circle, Mooresville. Services will be held on Thursday, October 27 at 2:00 at Davidson United Methodist Church, 233 South Main Street, Davidson.
