Clara E. Jackson

Clara E. Jackson, 85, of Statesville, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Davis Regional Medical Center.
She was born on February 17, 1926 in Branford, CT, to the late Lewis Wilson and Allie Taylor Jackson. She was a life long resident of Connecticut until she moved to North Carolina 1 ½ years ago. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for New Britain National Bank in Connecticut.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Jackson, Charles Jackson; and son-in-law, Thomas Gutowski.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Gutowski of Mooresville, NC; brothers, Richard Jackson and wife, Marguerite, Roy Jackson and wife, Diana both of Branford, CT; grandchildren, Deborah McKosky and husband, Stefan of Northford, CT, Robert Dlugolenski of Troutman, NC; great grandchildren, Jessica McKosky, Kayla McKosky, Trace Dlugolenski; step-grandchildren, Stephen Gutowski and wife, Susan, Jennifer Barron and husband, Stephen; step-great grandchildren, Halle Barron, Christopher Barron, Leah Gutowski, Erik Gutowski; and twelve nieces and nephews.
All services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lake Norman Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Serenity Garden and/or Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, 171 Fairview Road, Mooresville, NC 28117.
