Catherine Williams Wilkinson

April 20, 1931 - January 21, 2012

Catherine Williams Wilkinson, 80, of Hwy 152 West, Mooresville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the Serenity House, Mooresville. Born April 20, 1931, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Williams and Willie Jane Morgan. Mrs. Wilkinson was retired from Custom Products. She was a member of Prospect Presbyterian Church, Mooresville. Mrs. Wilkinson was preceded in death by her husband, Barnette Wilkinson; sisters, Thelma Martin and Ethel Shue; and brother, Bud Williams. She is survived by her son, David Lynn Wilkinson and wife, Pamela, of Mt. Ulla; sisters, Mildred Lynch and husband, James, of Rockwell, Mary Ruth Talbert, of Troutman, Lucy Gentle, of Statesville, and Agnes Shue, of Cleveland; grandchildren, Tiffany Dingler and husband, Jeremy, of Mooresville, and Jessica Wilkinson, of Mt. Ulla; sisters-in-law, Violet LaShomb and husband, Don, of Love Valley, and Celeste Wilkinson, of Mooresville; and brother-in-law, Allen Wilkinson, of Mooresville. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mooresville, with Rev. Joanne Hull officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 PM on Monday, January 23, 2012, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
