Brian "B.J." Huff

August 31, 1950 - September 6, 2011

Brian (“BJ”) Huff, age 61, of Cornelius, North Carolina (formerly of Jackson, Michigan), passed away on September 6, 2011, after a brief battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Michelle; son, David, of Jackson, Michigan; daughter, Kaitlyn; son, Cody Solka, of Ishpeming, Michigan; grandchildren, David Jr. and Xantra, of Rives Junction, Michigan; mother, Ruth Van Horne, of Jackson, Michigan; and brother, Thomas Huff, of Jackson, Michigan. His extended family includes mother-in-law, Eunice Diehl, of Mooresville, North Carolina; brother-in-law, Scott Diehl and wife, Trina, and two nephews of Fenton, Michigan. He was employed by the Cornelius Police Department.

He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. His compassionate nature and sense of humor will be missed by all that knew him. Family and friends will celebrate Brian’s life privately.
