Brenda Anderson Smith "Pinky"

Brenda Anderson Smith “Pinky”, 48, of Houston Rd., Troutman, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at her residence. Born November 29, 1962, in Warsaw, IN, she was a daughter of Charles and Margaret Whitaker Anderson, of Troutman. Mrs. Smith was a machine operator at Best Sweets and also worked at the Mooresville Dragway. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles H. “Chucky” Anderson, Jr. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 30 years, Paul Smith; children, Jessica Smith and boyfriend, Chad Gaddy, of Statesville; and Paul Smith, Jr. and wife, Paula, of Troutman; sisters: Sharon Ervin and husband, Norris, of Mooresville, and Nickie Webster and husband, Jeff, of Troutman; brother-in-law, Ricky Smith and wife, Faye, of Mt. Mourne; grandchildren, Alyssa Jackson, Trenidi Jackson, Kayden Lira, and Shila Jackson; nephews, Bobby, Billy and Timothy Smith, Brian and Shaun Ervin and Daniel Webster and niece, Holly Smith. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 1, 2011, at the Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel, Mooresville. Burial will follow in Iredell Memorial Gardens, Statesville. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM, Friday, September 30, 2011, at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville. Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville, is serving the family of Brenda Smith.
