Betty Elizabeth "Liz" Luffman

March 26, 1991 - September 27, 2011

Betty Elizabeth “Liz” Luffman, 20, of Midway Lake Rd., Mooresville, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at her home. She was born on March 26, 1991, in Charlotte, NC. Liz was a 2009 graduate of Lake Norman High School. She was employed at McDonald’s in Cornelius. Liz was a member of Rockwell Baptist Church, Mooresville. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Timothy Luffman, Sr. Liz is survived by her maternal great grandparents, Hubert Curtis Luffman and Betty Jane Absher Luffman, of Mooresville; mother, Tabitha L. Pritt, of Mooresville; maternal grandmother, Willene Melton, of Mooresville; sisters, Brianna Luffman and Katie Pritt, of Mooresville; brother, Tyler Pritt, of Mooresville; aunt, Betty Jean Wyatt; uncle, Timothy D. Luffman, Jr.; great aunt, Jane L. Brown and husband, Ronnie; great uncle, Johnny Luffman and wife, Billie; and a number of cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 1, 2011, at Rockwell Baptist Church, Mooresville, with Rev. Dwayne Barber officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 AM, prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Rockwell Baptist Church, 133 Rockwell Lp., Mooresville, NC 28115.
