Archie Steven Martin

August 1, 1955 - September 7, 2011

Archie “Steven” Martin, 56, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, in Spartanburg, SC. Born August 1, 1955, in Rutherfordton, NC, he was a son of Carolyn Robbins Pannwitz and husband, Hart, of Mooresville, and the late Archie T. Martin. Mr. Martin was a graduate of Garringer High School, Charlotte. He was a self employed auto detailer. In addition to his mother and step-father, Mr. Martin is survived by a brother, Rocky Lee Martin, Sr.; sister, Kimberly Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at First Assembly of God, Mooresville, with Pastor Rob Spradley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Charlotte NC Office, 222 South Church St., Suite 336M, Charlotte, NC 28202.
